Latency broke immersion
Voice and movement lag over 150ms made group conversations feel stilted and unnatural.

A virtual reality platform where people gather for live events and parties as avatars — real venues, real crowds, no travel required.

Vantage VR wanted to give people a reason to put a headset on beyond gaming — a place where friends could show up to a concert or launch party from anywhere, and it would actually feel like being there.
Our goal was to make presence, not graphics, the star of the experience: low-latency voice, expressive avatars, and venues built for crowds, not just demos.
The platform now hosts everything from intimate meetups to large ticketed events, with organizers running the room the way they would in the physical world.

Three problems stood between Vantage VR and a room that felt genuinely alive — here's how each was solved.
Voice and movement lag over 150ms made group conversations feel stilted and unnatural.
Off-the-shelf avatar tooling gave every guest the same limited look, hurting a sense of identity.
Guests arrived on different headsets and browsers, and performance varied wildly across them.
Build a personal look with outfits, accessories, and expressions.
Step into a DJ set or launch event as it happens, no delay.
Hear people louder the closer their avatar stands to yours.
Sell entry to a venue the same way you would to a real show.
Stages, lounges, and photo spots guests can walk through and use.
Break-out rooms for guests to hang out before or after the main event.
